We have just today been directed by Department of Health and Human Services Public Health Unit (PHU) that all Maculata Place residents and staff must undergo a fourth COVID-19 test tomorrow, September 3, before they will issue us clearance to move out of isolation.
A short update to let you know that we are still waiting for all Maculata Place staff test results to come back before we can seek approval from the Public Health Unit to move Maculata Place from isolation to active surveillance.
Maculata Place is unable to move out of isolation as authorisation from the Public Health Unit (PHU) to do so has not yet been received.
Shepparton Villages has been notified all residents at Maculata Place have returned a negative COVID-19 result for the third round of testing.
Shepparton Villages has now received all second wave test results for residents of Maculata Place.
I am pleased to advise that of the 116 Maculata Place residents tested, 115 have returned a negative test, one is positive (the original case).
Further to information shared earlier today, we have received the results for 39 residents at Maculata Place and all have returned negative results for COVID-19.
Unfortunately late this afternoon I was advised that one Macula Place resident has tested positive to COVID-19.
Shepparton Villages has been notified all 19 residents in Bertram House have returned negative COVID-19 tests.
A staff member of Shepparton Retirement Villages has been diagnosed with COVID-19.
