We understand not being able to see your loved one, at this time, is incredibly difficult for all concerned. These are unprecedented times and our priority is the safety and care of your loved one and our staff.
Please be assured that within facilities, residents are still enjoying interaction with staff, and each other during supervised activities and over mealtimes – taking into consideration ALL of the social distancing and infection control measures.

We are certainly going through unprecedented times to state the obvious. There are many uncertainties for us all as well navigate the rapidly changing environment under COVID-19.

It outlines the COVID-19 facts and the measures you, your family and friends can take to protect older Australians. The spread of COVID-19 and Australia’s response is evolving.
We just want to thank our wonderful families who have been so understanding and so supportive of the infection control measures we have taken at all our aged care facilities.

I am writing to inform you of the extra precautions and restrictions we have put into place at Shepparton Villages to further protect our residents from COVID-19.
Firstly, be assured that to date we have no cases of COVID-19 at Shepparton Villages, however as you would be aware the number of cases around the world has increased, hence it is imperative that we try to protect the most vulnerable from this virus, the elderly residing within residential care.
Shepparton Villages has increased infection control measures as a precaution amid concerns about the COVID-19 coronavirus.
CEO Kerri Rivett said Shepparton Villages was not in lock down but has introduced additional infection control measures in order to protect our residents.
