Care Facility Directions from the Victorian Government’s Deputy Public Health Commander have been updated (Version 13) to reflect the extension of the State of Emergency until November 8, 2020.
There have been no changes to visitor policies under the new care directives (Version 13) that impact our residential care facilities. We envisage these directives will be reviewed again by the Department of Health and Human Services on November 8, 2020, and Shepparton Villages will also review the visitor policy in line with those directives.
As it stands under the current directions (version 13), visitors are only permitted on a strict and limited basis, and information can be accessed via this link: Victorian Care Facility Directions (No 13).
If you feel your visit meets the exemption criteria outlined in the directives from the Deputy Public Health Commander, you can call the following numbers Monday to Friday from Thursday 1 October 2020. Please note, calls outside the below times will not be monitored. If the number is busy or your call is not answered, please do not leave a message but try the number again.
We still ask that you consider very carefully any request to visit based on the Deputy Public Health Commander’s directives and in line with our goal of protecting the health and well-being of our residents and staff.
Please find attached a revised Restricted Access Assessment form which, should you decide to make a pre-arranged visit, you must complete prior to entering a Shepparton Villages facility. The form can either be completed electronically or printed and completed manually.
Please contact the facility at which your loved one resides to organise assistance with electronic communications and phone calls. Once again, I thank you for your patience and understanding. We will provide further updates as they come to hand.
